Cook County Pride is committed to creating public events which foster a safe, healthy and empowered queer community for residents and visitors of Cook County, MN.

Initiatives

• We produce large-scale annual events, in which we celebrate our presence, acknowledge our history of marginalization and commit to building a better future. 

• We provide educational outreach, in order to develop a common understanding of queer history and allyship. 

• We create social events throughout the year; safe spaces intended to strengthen the social life of queer folks in our community.

• We collaborate with local organizations and businesses, working together to strengthen allyship throughout our community. 

• We attend city and county meetings, and other public forums, in order to advocate for Cook County’s queer community.
